Who controls your data
GW3Stock is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact contact@gw3stock.com for privacy requests, unsubscribe requests, corrections, access requests or deletion requests.
What data is collected
The buyer list form collects your email address. It also records whether you ticked the optional marketing consent checkbox. The contact form collects your email address and the message you send. Basic technical information may be processed by the hosting provider to serve the site, protect it from abuse and keep logs needed for security.
Lawful basis
Marketing email is sent only on the basis of consent. The marketing checkbox is separate, optional and unticked by default. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting contact@gw3stock.com. Contact form handling and essential technical logs are processed where necessary for legitimate interests in responding to messages, running the site and preventing abuse.
How the data is used
Buyer list emails are used to record interest in GW3Stock and, where consent is given, send launch, stock and discount-code updates. Contact form data is used to respond to the message you sent. GW3Stock does not sell buyer list data.
Retention
Buyer list data is kept until Guild Wars 3 launches and the launch communication period has completed, unless you ask for deletion earlier. If the store changes materially before launch, buyer list data will be reviewed and kept only where there is still a clear need. Contact messages are normally kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed to handle an ongoing issue or legal obligation.
Processors
The site may be hosted on Netlify or Cloudflare Pages. Netlify Forms may process buyer list and contact submissions if the Netlify deployment path is used. If Cloudflare Pages Functions and KV are used instead, Cloudflare may process form submissions and storage. Email delivery or mailing-list software may be added later, but analytics and third-party scripts are not hard-coded into this build.
Cookies and analytics
Essential local storage is used to remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics scripts are blocked unless you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Rejecting optional cookies is given equal weight to accepting them, and the site works without analytics.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU data protection law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You can exercise these rights by emailing contact@gw3stock.com. Include the email address used on the buyer list so the request can be matched.
Unsubscribe and deletion
To unsubscribe from marketing or ask for your buyer list data to be deleted, email contact@gw3stock.com or use the contact page. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect earlier processing carried out while consent was active.
