How players should expect official access to work

What the beta may test
The confirmed premise gives useful clues about what needs testing. Guild Wars 3 is set in Orr roughly 1,200 years before the first Guild Wars. Players are Vaelwardens protecting Vael spirits with the help of personal spirit mounts called Seekers. The central conflict is guild-versus-guild, with groups divided over whether to protect or exploit the Vael.
Those facts point toward world traversal, mount handling, group conflict, combat readability, and controller ergonomics as likely beta priorities. They do not confirm class names, skill lists, playable races, progression systems, economy design, or endgame structure. If those appear in the beta, GW3Stock will label them as beta observations until ArenaNet confirms what survives into launch.
What beta players should watch for
Economy-minded players will naturally look for currency names, vendor prices, crafting costs, trading permissions, auction systems, mail rules, and whether gold is account-wide or character-bound. None of that is known yet. A beta may include temporary economies, disabled trading, wiped accounts, or test values, so beta discoveries should not be treated as launch facts too early.
Players interested in launch planning should also watch for monetisation details. Colin Johanson has stated that Guild Wars 3 will have no subscription and no battle pass. That is useful, but it leaves many questions open, including box price, editions, cosmetics, convenience items, expansions, and platform-specific requirements.
